As a Senior in high school, I am committed to making a difference in my community and beyond. I have learned the importance of leadership, teamwork, and compassion. My own struggles with mental health have also inspired me to advocate for others who may be struggling. I believe that with the right support and resources, we all have the power to thrive.

My name is Issabella Cornett. Like many, I’ve faced my own struggles with mental health, and I’ve seen firsthand how it impacts not just individuals but entire communities. As an advocate, I’ve learned to speak up about these challenges and work to reduce the stigmas surrounding mental health. Through my journey, I’ve come to understand the power of support, open conversations, and, most importantly, self-care.  My ultimate goal is to break down the stigma surrounding mental health and create a community where we can openly discuss mental well-being without judgment. Together, we can make a difference.

Hey Lovelies! My name is Kinsey Dickerson. I’m striving to promote mental health because I have seen firsthand how mental health affects both individuals and their loved ones. I believe it is important to speak up about the mental health concerns in the world. It is important because mental well-being impacts every aspect of life —relationships, performance, and overall happiness. By promoting mental health and providing support, we can break stigmas, encourage open conversations, and help people access the resources they need. Whether it’s supporting peers, educating others, or simply being a safe space for someone, you have the ability to make a real difference.

Hey yall, My name is McKenzie Page. I have also suffered from mental health. With that being said, I am more than grateful to be part of the blog and project. Majority of those who do suffer do not have many to talk to. I am hoping that this blog will allow them to feel comfortable enough to express their feelings and seek help from a peer, teacher, or parent. The main goal I am hoping to achieve is showing these people who are struggling that it is more than okay to struggle and with the right help and the right friends you will be okay!
